Vernasa, Italy 48x36"

Vernasa, Italy 48x36"
Vernasa, Italy is an original oil painting on a 48” x 36” x .75” canvas. This piece is painted with a variety of fine brushes and palette knives. This enchanting town is one of the 5 centuries-old villages that make up the Cinque Terre, on northwest Italy’s rugged Ligurian coast. Colorful houses surround its small marina. Finished in 2010.
Standard Wrap .75”
These paintings are on a standard wrap canvas. Meaning that all the staples are attached to the sides of the wooden stretchers and the edge of the canvas is left raw. The raw edges of the painting should be covered with a frame. It is our recommendation that these sorts of pieces be framed because it gives the piece a finishing touch, in the same way, that hemming a garment completes the clothes an item of clothing.
Any purchases made between May to October will not be shipped out or delivered until Late October 2021. The painting is currently being exhibited in a private collection.
The Marina portfolio is a collection of paintings made in the past two decades that Leon has kept in his private art collection. These scenes are inspired by trips Leon and Rosa have taken over the years, searching for new landscapes, colors, and textures. Traveling and being exposed to different cultures is an excellent way to grow and diversify as creatives. Enjoy this private collection that is finally being shown to the public after it was created.
