San Sebastián, Spain is an original oil painting on a 48” x 36” x .75” canvas. This piece is painted with a variety of fine brushes and palette knives. San Sebastián is a resort town on the Bay of Biscay in Spain’s mountainous Basque Country. It’s known for Playa de la Concha and Playa de Ondarreta, beaches framed by a picturesque bayfront promenade, and world-renowned restaurants helmed by innovative chefs. Finished in 2010.

These paintings are on a standard wrap canvas. Meaning that all the staples are attached to the sides of the wooden stretchers and the edge of the canvas is left raw. The raw edges of the painting should be covered with a frame. It is our recommendation that these sorts of pieces be framed because it gives the piece a finishing touch, in the same way, that hemming a garment completes the clothes an item of clothing.
